How To Get Started

*Please review our Code of Conduct before attending any Temperance Training classes or events!

Code of Conduct

  1. Temperance Training builds a sense of community in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. At all Temperance Training events and classes, everyone is welcome and active participation in the community is encouraged. Members must be kind and courteous at all times.

  2. Temperance Training strives for all of our events and classes to be a physically and emotionally safe space. Behavior that is or could be perceived as violent or threatening is unacceptable. Language or conduct that could be perceived as racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise inappropriate will not be tolerated.

  3. Temperance Training is not a dating club. While we do not prohibit dating among members, we ask that members refrain from viewing our events and classes as a place to meet romantic partners. Unwelcome advances, physical contact, and/or sexually suggestive speech will not be tolerated.

  4. Temperance Training events/activities are tobacco-free. Smoking is not permitted at or in the proximity of any Temperance Training event or class. This includes the use of vaporizers.

  5. Members are the face of Temperance Training. By attending our events or wearing Temperance Training attire, you represent this foundation. Please respect our community standards both in terms of sobriety and conduct.

  6. Temperance Training staff and instructors are here to help. Whether you have technical questions, want to find a workout partner, need help finding recovery resources, or have concerns about another member’s conduct, Temperance Training instructors are available to assist you. We encourage you to approach us with any questions or concerns.

  7. We do not condone the usage of performance enhancing drugs inside or outside of our facility. Remember that if you are a member, what you do outside of our classes and events reflects on Temperance Training. We practice the principles of honesty and integrity in all of our affairs. If you need assistance or recommendations on safe supplements, ask an instructor and we will be glad to help.

  8. We encourage members to fellowship outside of classes and events. Use Temperance Training to your advantage and get to know new people! You can make a difference in somebody’s life if you simply reach out!
