There will be a 12 minute cap for both workouts combined.
Workout 1 : The clock will start and both athletes will begin running 400m while each holding onto a device keeping them together for its entirety. Once the run is completed you will complete the benchmark workout “Fran”. It is only the reps listed so you may split up the workout as you see fit. your score is the time once you have completed “Fran”.
Workout 2 : With the remaining time left in the 12 minute cap both you and your partner will work up to a heavy Thruster off the ground. Your score is total weight lifted between the two of you. The thruster must start from the floor. You must clean the bar and complete a full depth squat into a press, without jerking it, for the rep to be complete. A cluster is acceptable.
